Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust celebrated the 72nd birthday of Jagadguru Swami Isa with a gathering of distinguished guests, a seminar on the I-Theory, the release of books and songs, the launch of a new website, the distribution of charitable assistance, and a music program.

Inaugurating the public meeting, Minister C. P. John spoke of the significance of Swami Isa’s educational vision at a time when humanity is increasingly preoccupied with its own thoughts and concerns. He observed that Swami Isa’s educational ideas and experiments could serve as a guiding light towards a brighter future for humanity.

Dr. Mohan Kunnummal, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kerala, who presided over the function, highlighted the relevance of Swami Isa’s ideas and research, particularly the I-Theory, in offering hope to humanity amid growing anxiety and uncertainty. He also expressed the university’s willingness to provide a platform for further research in this field.

Inner Peace as the Foundation of World Peace
In his address, Jagadguru Swami Isa spoke of the relationship between individual well-being and peace in the wider world.
“For world peace to become possible, every individual must experience inner peace and well-being. When an individual becomes disturbed, the family, society and nation are also disturbed,” he explained.

Swami Isa observed that the barriers people build in their pursuit of happiness can themselves become sources of unrest and sorrow. Ethical values, he said, enable people to move beyond these divisions and face life’s challenges without losing their inner balance.

His message reflected a central principle of his educational vision: lasting peace in society begins with the individual.

I-Theory for Holistic Development
The seminar featured academicians in discussion with Swami Isa about his I-Theory in which his philosophy of interconnection is given a scientific framework. “There is no science without literature and no literature without science, as they are mutually dependent,” Swamiji said.

The discussion highlighted how the theory can contribute to more complete knowledge and cultivation of humane values.

A Celebration of Knowledge, Creativity and Service
The birthday celebration brought together distinguished guests from public life, education, architecture, culture and the media. Those attending included former Minister Kadakampally Surendran; BJP State General Secretary Adv. S. Suresh; architect G. Shankar; World Press Institute Permanent Fellow K. P. Mohanan; Dr. M. R. Thampan; and Municipal Councillor Jaya Rajeev.

The programme also marked several milestones for Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust, including the release of books and songs, the launch of its new website, and the distribution of charitable assistance. Together, these activities reflected the Trust’s continuing commitment to education, cultural expression, research and service to society.

Education for a More Conscious and Peaceful World
The birthday celebration was an occasion not only to honour Swami Isa’s life and work, but also to renew interest in the relevance of his educational vision to the challenges facing humanity today.
