Acclaimed musician Sharreth released a new song based on a poem by His Holiness Jagadguru Swami Isa.  The audio was released by the Hon. Governor of West Bengal Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose at the inaugural function of the 70th Jayanthi celebrations on November 9th.  

Titled “Prakritiyaam Amme”, the song is a tribute to the people of Wayanad, and describes the broken bond between man and Mother Nature, as people gradually became more and more fascinated with artificial things and destroyed the Earth. The song features the renowned Malayali singers K.S. Chithra and Madhu Balakrishnan.

His Holiness Jagadguru Swami Isa said, “We must preserve our relationship with Mother Nature. Our balance, the world’s balance, and the happiness of future generations depends on realizing that we are not separate from her.”

The Global Energy Parliament honoured Sharreth with the 2024 GEP Award at the function. The award carries a one lakh cash prize sponsored by the Governor.

Sharreth expressed his delight to receive the award, saying that working on this song was a cherished experience for him, as it carries great meaning of the broken bond between the mother nature and mankind.  He enthralled the audience by singing some songs.
