His Holiness Jagadguru Swami Isa announced the initiation of a new Ministry of Thought in the Global Energy Parliament at the 14th annual session held on December 14th and 15th. The Ministry would be tasked with reviewing all proposals and applying critical analysis based on the unifying theory of energy, before passing them as resolutions. Thus, it would act much like a finely tuned human intellect, but in the objective plane.
GEP 2024 was conducted on the topic of “The Science of Thought: Using Thought for a More Humane World,” and had 27 countries participating online.
The Governor of West Bengal, Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose, inaugurated the event on December 14th. The former speaker of the Sri Lankan Parliament, Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, delivered the Valedictory Address on the 15th. Sri Ramesh Chennithala, MLA and former Minister for Home Affairs, Govt of Kerala presided and veteran journalist Shri. K.P. Mohanan delivered a Special Address.
The critical need for purity of human thought was highlighted in the two-day session. Experts, including the well-known quantum physicist Dr. Amit Goswami, consciousness researcher from Princeton Dr. Roger Nelson, physicist and I-Theory researcher Dr. Christophe Dumas, neuroscientist Dr. Bindu Kutty, medical researcher Dr. Christian Schubert, and physicians Dr. Anoop Kumar and Dr. Kimberly Davis made it clear that thought has a very immediate effect on the world and on one’s self, and the quality of human thought is scientifically demonstrable. In short, humans can create the results they desire through a careful cultivation of their thought through life-energy (pranic) practices.
The parliament called for more attention to maintaining the natural balance in human life and human thought, and to stop the trends of distortion. Bills and resolutions were passed from several portfolios including peace and global affairs, environment, agriculture, science and technology, women’s affairs, and education.
