The “I-Theory” framework developed by Swami Isa and the initiatives of the Global Energy Parliament (GEP) have received academic attention from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. The Institute examined the conceptual scope of the framework, which explores possible connections between quantum physics, consciousness studies, life sciences, and Bh?rath?ya knowledge systems.
According to a feedback document submitted by Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, to the Union Ministry of Education, the framework presents “considerable scope” for further interdisciplinary exploration in areas related to quantum physics and its applications, particularly through engagement with epistemological and metaphysical concepts found in traditional Indian knowledge systems.
The document also recommended sustained academic dialogue and open seminars involving theoretical physicists, neuroscientists, traditional scholars, and researchers from diverse disciplines to examine the conceptual foundations of I-Theory and associated research proposals.
The report identified several domains where deeper scientific inquiry and interdisciplinary collaboration could be pursued, including consciousness studies, quantum science, sound energy systems, and pranic science research. In areas such as low-frequency sound energy harvesting, pranic science, and A1 particle studies, the report emphasized the importance of rigorous engineering methodologies, scientific validation, and collaborative research efforts.
Following the discussions, Dr. Christophe Dumas, Director of the GEP Research Centre, stated that the Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust is now working toward creating structured academic engagement around the proposed research themes.
“We had a fruitful interaction with Prof. Kamakoti and faculty members at IIT Madras following the submission of the feedback report,” said Dr. Dumas. “The discussions reinforced the importance of approaching these subjects through open scientific inquiry, interdisciplinary dialogue, and rigorous research methodology.”
He added that the Trust is taking steps to facilitate seminars, collaborative discussions, and future research proposals involving physicists, neuroscientists, traditional scholars, and innovators from multiple disciplines.
