Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose, the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, visited Jagadguru Swami Isa at Isalayam Ashram today to talk with Swamiji and address the assembled devotees.
In his first public address at Thiruvananthapuram since becoming Governor, Dr. Bose lauded Swami Isa’s initiatives and programs including Education for Total Consciousness, the I-Theory, and the Global Energy Parliament, of which he had earlier been the Speaker of Parliament. He asked for anugraha (blessings) to serve the people and nation well in his capacity as Governor. He prayed for humility and to act without the dark mark of ego.
Responding to the Governor’s address, Jagadguru Swami Isa explained the meaning of ‘anugraha’. “When we act with an inner thought of the Divine—or Happiness, or Truth, or Bliss—or whatever name we give to the all-pervading non-vibrating Consciousness, that positive thought vibrates with positive energy. Positive energy has a lower frequency than negative energy, which carries mortality and causes agitation and darkness. Live with Consciousness inside our thought, and peace and happiness will be with us always,” Swamiji said.
Dr. M.R. Thampan, Secretary of the Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust, gave the Welcome Address. The Hon’ble Governor presented his books to Swamiji and welcomed all the devotees to West Bengal.
